This release of Dragon Ball Daima aims to marry the superior DSNP WEB-DL video, notable for its lack of banding, and the Amazon E-AC3 Japanese audio which peaks higher into the frequency range compared to other sources. Note that the Toei Animation intro music is different between sources, but everything after is synced 1:1.
**We did an oopsie on the audio. See the comments [on the original upload](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1898668) for details.**

**Subtitles Changes:**
- Funimation dub terminology replaced with accurate translations
- Various mistranslations and/or unclear dialogue fixed
- Numerous timing fixes
- OP and ED lyrics edited to better reflect their meaning
- OP credits translated and typeset
- Glind changed to Gurindian to reflect the "donguri" pun origin
- Daimao (大魔王) swapped from "Supreme Demon King" to "Great Demon King" for series consistency
- "Neva" changed to "Neba" to match the traditional rendering of ネバ (粘 - Sticky)
- "Kempeitai" (憲兵隊) changed from "Gendarmerie" to "Military Police" for clarity and convention
- "Panzy" changed to "Pansy" as there's not really any English-relevant reason to use a Z beyond SEO
- "Hybis" changes to "Hibis" to reflect the "hibiscus" origin
- "Nemophy" changed to "Nemophi" to reflect the "nemophila" origin
- Most reversed katakana signs translated and typeset

I dunno if you have like a dedicated place for feedback but meh, I'm just gonna drop it here.
09:18 - "Namekian" even though you otherwise had "Namek" for "Namekku-jin"
16:00 - This is more "But don't use guns, since those don't make for good trainin'."
22:26 - "for this plane" doesn't quite convey the tone, more like "for this piece of junk."
Always open to feedback, whether here or elsewhere!
We opted to stop using Namek on purpose and will change the previous episodes' instances to Namekian for the batch. At this point, it's clear this is just a writing quirk of Yuko Kakihara's rather than some kind of intentional difference that needs to be reflected in the subtitles. Existing characters are using it willy-nilly and even the dub has opted to stick with Namekian despite using Supreme Demon King and other odd quirks. If this somehow does wrap back around to meaning something substantial, we'll of course revert, but I think it's fairly safe to say we're okay.
If you'd like to join team and help out with TLC, you can hit up FrostyGraybob on Discord! We'd love to have you. (Alternatively you can contact me if you remember who this is)
Sweet. It'll be worth waiting for future episodes by this group.
I hope Toriyama-sama made a Daima movie as well, this show is such a masterpiece I just want more of it when it ends. Oh, and a standalone game would be pretty nice, too.
RIP, Mr. Toriyama.
