@Killuaalt agreed. Let's not forget the author of Solo Leveling was a fervent anti-Japanese racist either, or that he made all the Japanese characters look like absolute douches and villains either. Honestly with how anti-Japan he was and the bit that leaked into the source material really makes me wonder why a MC power-fantasy that's a dime a dozen would even be adapted by the Japanese of all people. Money I guess, but it's really disgraceful. inb4 someone gets mad at me I really don't care, popular =/= right, go back to Reddit and seethe.

Done watching, still lots of "emotion emphasis" missing. At this point you'll just be watching this for its action and animation, I feel bad for non-readers to not getting the whole "feels" of the story.

@Rowan I didn’t know about that. So, if you're Korean or Chinese and an anti-Japanese racist, your works get adapted into anime. But if you're a Japanese author and post something about Chinese people on Twitter, your manga and novel get shut down, and the anime gets canceled, like with Nidome no Jinsei wo Isekai de?

really what better use for contemporary animation knowledge and skills could there be, than pissing out another overbudgeted formulaic nonstory crushed into 12-24-36 episodes in almost gleeful disregard of the tinpot auteurism dripping out of the meatholes of talentless weebs on the internet
