Thanks! You rock!
A few comments as usual:
At 0:07:04.23, I hear ぬいぐるみは燃えやすい, which seems cute and funny: Mofurun is Mirai’s teddy bear, after all. Is your translation intentional?
At 0:07:41.56, you have a note but the word isn’t mentioned in the subs. I have an idea of why this might be, but just to make sure, is this also intentional?
At 0:09:08.11+, terminology suggestion/food for thought: it remains to be seen how they handle this now, but in the original show “followers” wouldn’t have worked very well: the vibe it gives me is someone who’s generally unrelated but voluntarily joins one’s cause, but they were rather his own creations, avatars and constituent parts. Imagination-Station used “agents”, which I think was a great choice. Crunchyroll used “kin”, which… yeah nah.
At 0:15:09.76, “I _should be_ over there”?
At 0:21:06.82, yep, I’m very confused by his Japanese lines… Guess he’s speaking in riddles and we’ll have to wait and see.
Finally, allow me to question another editing choice: the hashtag. My only guess is that your aim is to match the show title? But the term “magician” is used normally elsewhere (which is good), and this doesn’t seem any different—and like, doesn’t seem to gain any value from this lack-of-translation.
Chortos-2: Thank you so much for your excellent feedback, as always!
07:04: Totally correct, I just misheard that. Usually I have JPN subs to cross-reference just in case, but unfortunately not for this show. Will fix it!
07:41: Ah yes, I just forgot to add the "izayoi" ruby text. I wasn't trying to conceal it or anything, I think it's fair to assume that people watching this sequel will know Liko's NMW surname, or at least will recognize and remember it when prompted. Even so, they might forget the reason behind the name and moon connection, so that's why the TL note.
09:08: You're right, "agents" works better here.
15:09: Omitting the "should be" is somewhat common for colloquial speech in a context like this, so that was intentional. But I'm not married to it, and Liko is less likely to abbreviate such things anyway, so I'll change it so nobody is confused.
21:06: Yep, kind of hard to know right now from the outside. So I figured best be more literal for now, and we can see if future context should warrant these lines to be altered.
On the hashtag, yeah it's meant to align with the show title, but also with Sara/classmates specifically naming "Maho Girls", and then linking that to the use of the hashtag. "Mahoutsukai" and "Maho Girls" is well known enough in my opinion, being the English title (the one in the [original logo](https://files.catbox.moe/milxfo.png), not the localized Witchy stuff), and also being the catchy beginning of ED2. So in the end, I think I'm happy with these choices, but I could decide later to switch it out for the final batch, we'll see.
On second thought, the lack of “should be” is probably fine, especially if it was a conscious choice. I think I might’ve stared at the line for a bit too long.
Another thing, though: would the episode title perhaps be better as “…is a magical miracle”? As it is, the lack of article before “miracle” is bothering me.
