I disagree with UTW/Victorique’s decision to change Victorica’s name to “Victorique” just because the anime producers decided to copy Tokyopop’s horrible localization when she signs her signature. I mean… if the subs were in a language where phonetically “que” = ka/ca then I would agree that is how you should do it… but unfortunately in English “Victorique” pronounced phonetically will not sound like her name at all.

Also for those who claim “Victorique” is a french girl’s name… I asked a french dude and he said it wasn’t. So there.

At the end of the day it is just personal preference, and it bothers me they’d change her name 9 episodes in,

I dunno whether to call it “Engrish”??? Maybe “Flench” is better… anyways what they are saying would clearly be more properly romanized as “Victorica” and here is some other evidence:

Anyways these are unchanged from Victorique’s version with the exception that I did a search and replace on Victorique/Victorica and Sauville/Saubure… that is all.
