Good effort, though next time please check/fix the signs track that is used with the English dub. It was not created using the actual dialogue script and thus was not typset at all or timed properly. Also I think you may need to remove "Ember" from your torrent name.

just trying to give proper credit. all i did was to combine the English audio with his video. as for the Signs, i didn't checkfix them at all! yaay! that sort of thing is beyond the scope of this project. i may do it after i've watched it, and if i do, i'll post a fix here. for now, the audio itself seems to be synced properly. i did jump around a bit to check that, but i will post a fix for that if it comes to it.
Many thanks for uploading the Dual Audio/English Dubbed version of the anime! You're the best! Didn't expect this anime to have English Audio! Nice! Hopefully Season 2 Also Gets a English Dubbed as well! Glad to see this anime automatically starts with English Audio the moment you play it!
There's seem to be a audio glitch in Episode 13 track: 2:09 when using the English Dub. Hopefully a fix could be made...

yeah, i figure if someone's gonna go after a dual audio one, they probably want to hear English primarily, andyou can always switch. it always irks me when people release an English version, but DON'T make signs the default, which is why i do it. it takes only one extra step... the audio glitch seems to be a CrunchyRoll issue. you know, this happens with them often enough that i think they PLAN it. like they release one or two episodes from a random new anime with bad or glitchy audio or subs, then fix it after a few months. at any rate, it seems everybody else got their audio from CR, because all the English tracked releases on here so far seem to have the same glitch. if i can get hold of a good copy, i will share. meanwhile, at least you can still tell what he's saying :) and if they dub S2 and nobody releases a reasonably sized one, you cn be sure i'll be back for that, too. ToonHub's tend to be a bit to big for my tastes. although some of their stuff is smaller than even JUDAS', so maybe they don't have any official standards? hmm...
So it’s a CrunchyRoll issue? Thanks for the heads up! Well its not really that bad and its only the last episode which has Audio Glitch problem, albeit it’s a little annoying but nothing serious. Hmm… If only funimation was still around sigh… I think they do a better job dubbing an anime than CrunchyRoll does. Anyways many thanks again for uploading this anime! Could you also upload Dual Audio/English Dubbed version of Dark Gathering with reasonable file size like this particular anime. The ones with [Anime Time] 14.2 GiB and [Virtuality]/cosmic 32.6 GiB are way too big for my liking…

you must not have been watching anime for too long. Funimation used to get mocked nearly CONSTANTLY for their horrible sense in dubbed versions. even way back when DBZ was first aired in the U.S., although most Americans LOVED it, it was HEAVILY edited, the soundtrack was completely changed (it had been relatively tame in the original, with no electric guitar), and several scenes and episodes were omitted or altered, leaving it somewhat incomplete, by some fans' opinions. they aren't alone though. many other big companies have (arguably) ruined the artistic intent of an anime by way of voice choices for characters, changing or editing scenes, or in some cases, just plain changing the core PLOT of the show! look into "Ghost Stories" if you want a prime example of them just screwing around in the recording booth (literally). anyways, Funimation pretty much IS CrunchyRoll now, since the company that owned Funi bought Crunchy, then pretty much just renamed Funi to Crunchy.

as for Dark Gathering, the AnimeTime one is actually pretty good. i know that 14GB seems like too much, but that series is not the usual 13 episodes. if it WAS, it would only be 7GB, which is pretty low. each episode is only around ~500 GB, while the EMBER ones are about ~350 GB. that is not a big gap, and there is an even BETTER reason why it is necessary: i've worked with video encoding/re-encoding for many years now, and I assure you there is no cookie-cutter recipe for how high a bitrate an anime should be encoded at. different animes, even when both were at 1080p, need different bitrates, in order to capture the same quality. an anime where they are mostly talking or standing in a backyard playing or something would not take as much MBs as an anime where people were flying around battling at high-paced speeds with a new background every other second. and CGI takes even more than THAT, as it has entire 3D movement that is hard not to fudge up if you don't set higher framerates. Dark Gathering has lots of action scenes. even when the protagonist is just talking, he's not just standing there with only mouth movements changing lie many anime. he's trembling, making large movements with his arms, and MAJOR facial changes as well, not to mention the scenes where the action scenes. if you were to drop the bitrate to HALF, you would practically lose any amount of quality the show had, and you would likely encounter random "artifacts" in the video as you watch. you may or may not be willing to put up with that, but i am definitely not. and i never produce releases that i would not watch myself. sorry if this won't fit in to your hopes, but i can assure you that the AnimeTime copy is pretty good, if only by my own standards. and if it already exists, honestly, i've sort of lost interest. you could always download EMBER's as well, then just remux the English Dub into it. it's not as difficult as you would imagine it to be. you can do it with free software. that's how i did this release ;)
