These are the new and improved English subtitles by [**FlameSubs**](https://flamesubs.home.blog/2025/12/03/sukeban-deka-1985-complete-batch/), muxed into the 2025 Japanese Blu-ray (which I bought and encoded myself). They were originally timed for Bunny Hat's 720p HDTV RAWs, so some timing adjustments needed to be made. All signs and titles were manually retimed, and dialogue lines were keyframe-snapped with the help of SCXvid. I also fixed a few minor grammar and spelling mistakes, missing periods, etc. And for kicks, I hastily threw in the old [**Dance of Death Productions**](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1169318/) subtitles on the second track, warts and all.
Compared to the ToeiCh HDTV broadcast, this Blu-ray transfer looks cleaner and sharper, with more edge definition around shapes and objects. Splice marks at camera cuts and most film dust spots and scratches have now been digitally cleaned up. Sadly, DNR does rear its ugly head, and there's some visible edge enhancement haloing throughout. If you're curious, you can check out a comparison between the ToeiCh HDTV and this Blu-ray release [**here.**](https://slow.pics/c/XVcUp6bP)
## Many thanks to Flame for the great work! Enjoy!
