This is the "official" Studio Khara version which was most likely the same file used to upload the take down notice on Youtube/X cease & desist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6ju8O7a89g I mean, what did they expect?! They're going to lose views/money if they don't do this since people can watch it "unofficially" in 4K even on their own like here XD If they really want to recoup these "losses", then they need to release the concert in 4K UHDBD in Physical form with the special Asuka Animation story attached to it. I will get it Day 0 either way. Maybe this is also the time to do other special Animation stories for Rei, Misato and even Gendo himself.

This torrent is still far superior to the official upload, it's around 10x the bitrate and the quality difference is extremely visible especially in grainy flashback scenes

@SomaHeir The leak was not in 4K actually I keep seeing 4K mentioned, but the copy is 1.7GB and from what I'm seeing around the file that matches that size is 1080p. So I think someone just said the wrong res and it is getting spread around because it sounds impressive.

@Ritsukushi figured as much, it was the *direct* file from khara just uploaded into google drive anyway. glad that this happy accident happened LMAO
