Unfortunately, the remastered videos don't look good in 1080p, hence the reason there is nothing higher than 720p. Actually, there are portions where the video looks 1080p and then it just drops back to the upscale. Even at 720p, portions still look like upscales. That's why I didn't encode higher than CRF-18. Usually I do TV series in CRF-16. The audio tracks are taken right off of the Blu-rays and DVDs. The English dialogue sounds like it's under water, but that's pretty much the nature of Dolby Digital as a codec. To be honest though, this is one series that I actually enjoyed watching in English more than I did in Japanese. Pretty rare. The subtitles on the DVDs were ATROCIOUS! And that's putting it mildly. If you want some entertainment, you can read my rant on Aquarion or open up the subtitle scripts and look at the comments and notes I put in there. There are several v2s that I have placed in this batch. 2 videos have different translations for the technobabble that I mentioned earlier and a few more have changed "New United Nations" to "Neo United Nations" to match the stenciling on the Assault Type Vectors. Episode 20 is a v2 because I re-translated the song a third time. Enjoy.
