In my opinion, Hi10P is useless for now

Color depth of MPEG2 Transport Stream of HDTV
and m2ts of Bluray Disc
and your video card
and your monitor or TV (or in some cases like TN panels, 6bit+FRC, FRC means like dithering)

is 8 bit !!

Only Color depth of master tapes for specialists and the TV professions is Hi10P and Bluray will be released to be transcoded by 8bit !!
