I seriously doubt I need to introduce Utada Hikaru to anyone here. But I wanted to upload this album so that fellow Japanese music fans can compare to contemporary Japanese pop. Why? Because even though _First Love_ came out in 1999 it remains (at this time of writting) the best-selling Japanese music album of all time. I have even heard it is the best-selling album from any asian country; but I cannot verify whether or not that is true. Nonetheless, there is something about _First Love_ which no J-Pop album has come close to replicating in sheer terms of commercial success. However, a lot of people I’ve spoken with believe that this is Utada’s debut album. It is not. She actually debuted with _Precious_ in 1998. But the all-English _Precious,_ while being a commercial success, did not approach the Mount Everest level of commercial success that _First Love_ would establish. If you are an Utada fan and have not heard this album then you owe it to yourself to download this.
