This is a collection of ten piano renditions of ZARD songs, a band that was active from 1991 until 2007, during which they became one of the best-selling Japanese bands in history (at this time of writing they are in the top ten). Hiromi Haneda spent a few years as the pianist for the group. ZARD did not have a stable line-up, save for the vocalist Izumi Sakai, whose unfortunate death in 2007 from cancer is what brought an end to the band. Since then there have been a number of touching ‘in memory’ albums, and this is one of them, from a former ZARD member. Minor trivia: the album shares the same title as the fifth track.
