This might be because, although the word "Avengers" is English, the way the Japanese language works might treat it as a singular noun, since the Japanese language doesn't have proper plurals and the "Avengers" is just the name of the team. So a disclaimer in advance: the title can go either way, so for now we'll just go with "A New Avenger?" until we see the episode next week.
