This torrent contains subtitles for the Yousei-raws encode of Akagi found here: [Yousei-raws - Akagi](http://yousei-raws.org/releases/touhai-densetsu-akagi). The fonts used in signs/dialogue are also provided in a rar file for your convenience.
I used Taedium's subtitle files (which are based on Triad's original TL) and retimed and styled them to fit the Yousei-raws encode. These subs needed a bit of work since the fonts used were too small and none of the signs were properly typeset. Despite the problems with Taedium's release, the fades and timing in signs were accurate, so all I did was have to typeset and position them. Some lines may not be snapped to keyframes, but overall the timing is accurate. The subs also have a fade in/fade out on each line which I did not remove, but it isnt too noticeable and actually makes the subs flow pretty well so I didnt bother removing it.
I referenced the original Triad release, in which Taedium's release was based on, for fonts and styling, though I did not add animation for the few signs that required it (I figured out how to do motion in later eps, so there is a sign or two with animation). I tried to imitate Triad's styling wherever I could, though I changed the default text to something a bit more fitting (imo). Since Taedium didnt include the Japanese in the OP/ED, I took it from Triad's release. Triad's OP styling font was hideous, so I didnt bother to replicate their styling in the OPs/EDs (sorry to anyone who liked it). Otherwise, I focused on making it have the same look as Triad, since they did a really good job on this series in the past, and everyone familiar with the show is probably used to their styling.
This release aims to provide an alternative to the Triad release, with a higher quality encode and not having to sacrifice a lot of the well done typesetting featured in Triad's version just to watch. The Yousei-raws encode of this series are the best available, and since im on a DSL line I decided to release just the subs instead of offering a remuxed version. I was going to release a patch like I did with the first 4 episodes, but I think this way is more familiar to most. Refer to the link for screenshots of some examples of fonts/signs. Any comments/feedback is appreciated.
