Here is the complete discography of Fayray (or at least under that name--she is now doing electronic dance music in New York under the name Mina Ohashi), one of the more underrated J-Pop artists.
Notes:
\- All albums and all singles through 2004 are in FLAC image+cue format. If you prefer a different format, load the .cue files in Foobar2000 or CUETools and convert them.
\- Where applicable, cuesheets are included in both a UTF-8 form and an ANSI form with non-ANSI characters replaced with compliant characters and Japanese replaced with romaji. So if you prefer romaji titles and/or can't view Japanese on your system, use these versions. I have also made cuesheets for the m4a singles to show titles in romaji (this works in Foobar2000, at least).
\- All singles from 2005 through 2007 are AACs from digital downloads. These are high-quality, first generation files (with tags stripped and manually re-entered).
\- "Paper Doll" (in the "misc" folder) is a single-song FLAC from Tak Matsumoto's \_THE HIT PARADE\_ (a compilation CD with various cover songs).
\- "Hikari" has some odd, rather annoying static at the very beginning and very end. This was true in both digital download versions that I tried, so I suspect this is a problem with the source rather than with the encode, but I took the liberty of losslessly removing it by cutting the file into three pieces in mp3DirectCut (the static at the beginning, the song itself, and the static at the end), generating silence in place of the static in Audacity, then putting the pieces back together again. For completeness, I have included the unedited version in the "original" subfolder.
\- "stay", "touch me, kiss me", "Suki da Nante Ienai", and \_Shiroi Hana\_ were all released only on Copy Control CD (CCCD), which are broken-by-design, non-standard CDs designed to cause issues with old CD-ROM drives. These were ripped in Burst Mode at low speed (4x) so the broken frames would be correctly interpolated. (Also, yes, "Love Is Blind" is supposed to sound like an old record, and this is not a problem with the rip.)
\- Most album artwork for the FLAC material was scanned and edited by me. The two exceptions are "look into my eyes" and "Kuchizuke", for which really good artwork was available on the R&C website. I am a little proud of the scans for "Remember", "stay", and "touch me, kiss me", which were made by scanning the cover art AND the obi and compositing the two to make slightly larger, nicer covers.
\- iTunes artwork scans are also included if available.
For people unfamiliar with Fayray's work, I suggest starting with the singles (especially "Over", "Remember", and "stay", which are different from--and better than--the album versions, and "tears", her biggest hit). \_Hourglass\_ is probably my favorite album, though I like them all.
