Indeed the best. This source is R1, R2 is brigher (you can see more things, but imo it feels unnatural and I liked the darker atmosphere).

The kuchikirukia release is the best version of the show out there, not this. The R1 DVD is simply wrong, it's so dark that you cannot see many important visual details in the darker scenes. On top of that, this release has completely unresolved interlacing and stuttering.
