The Tibeten Dog - "In this film, a young boy named Tenzing leaves for Tibet after his mother passes away to live with his Father in the prairies and encounters a true friend in form of a golden Tibetan Mastiff." {Wikipedia}
This is an old 'release' I did back in 2011 but released only 'in-house' for a local group.
If you already have The Tibetan Dog as released by Wiki (currently available on both AB and BBT, then this is a patch set for patching this file:
**The.Tibetan.Dog.2011.720p.BluRay.x264-WiKi.mkv**
You can verify if you have the correct source file by checking it's CRC32 value=E0873FBE
If you don't already have the original source movie, then don't bother with this patch. I'll be making the patched movie available shortly.
What this patch does:
Adds my .ass styled subtitles as the first subtitle track.
Adds Wiki's original external .srt subtitles as the second subtitle track.
There are three files. The patch file is the file labeled:
**\[Ankular\]Tibeten Dog.diff**
The other two files are the Windows 32bit and 64bit xdelta3 program files {if you don't already have xdelta3} with which you can apply the patch file to Wiki's original file.
Windows: Copy the patch {.diff} file and which ever version {32bit/64bit} version of xdelta3 is correct for your version of Windows to the directory with the source movie. Open a 'cmd' window in the movie directory. {DOS box}.
Linux: If you don't already have the xdelta3 package installed from your distribution, then install it now. Copy the patch {.diff} to the directory where the source movie is.
Both:
**xdelta3{-i686-3.0.10}{-x86\_64-3.0.10} -d -s "\[Ankular\]Tibetan Dog.diff"**
Assuming you indeed have the correct source file and you've followed these instructions correctly, you should end up with a file named:
**\[Ankular\]Tibet Inu Monogatari - The Tibetan Dog\[BD 720p AVC AC3\]\[A51BD614\].mkv**
If it doesn't work or you don't want to do this, as noted above, I'll load the patched movie soon.
Notes on the subtitles:
These are sourced from the Wiki group external .srt subtitles. I styled them and made a number of grammatical corrections. The corrections cover three main areas. 1) Elimination of most of the elipses (..), 2) Correction of most 2-line line breaks, 3) Edits to the Prologue (to better convey the feelings/sense of the Prologue narration). It it what it is.
I did nothing to improve the rather mediocre subtitle timing.
Depending on source, the central character's name is Tenzing, Jiantan or Tainjin. The subtitles use Tianjin.
I'd like to thank plsnoriperino for indirectly reminding me of this wonderful family flick by posting his version with the [Japanese soundtrack](//www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=766036).
I don't run a seedbox. Please seed if you can. Thank you! .. and enjoy!!
