aW's subs, which I'm pretty sure are just R1 DVD subs.
Note that I found something curious when I was examining frame by frame. It turns out that Crest was actually mixed 24 FPS film and 30FPS NTSC. Some of the pans in space battles, and parts where the entire screen is filled with a CG battle screen (like a monitor on a ship bridge) are 30 FPS.
So I just made VFR files, that seamlessly switch between 24 and 30 when necessary, giving you smoother pans and displays when they occur.
If you know how to bring up frame timing controls, you can see it (ex. CTRL+J in MPC).
x265, 10bit, CRF18, single threaded mode for better quality (I just encode multiple eps at the same time on my 5820k, so it's all the same). Longish keyint.
AnimeIVTC mixed mode with killcomb 3.
Waifu2x NR1 filter run via my 290x to clean up some of the compression artifacts.
Sharpaamcmod to clean up some of the fuzziness from the original transfer.
Audio is 448k CBR AC3 transcoded to 96k VBR Opus.
Also I left unsubbed advertisements for Crest games and books and whatnot after the end credits on some of the episodes, optional, and always interesting.
960x540.
