Subs from FFF and Hiryuu (Hiryuu base). Track one (eng) has karaoke effects, and track two (enm) does not. Otherwise there are no differences. [auto-default guide (KCP)](http://imgur.com/VDJznvQ)
Still might do the OVA. Depends on how soon I feel like rewriting an entire 20 minute episode. Same goes for the specials, only those will take even longer since they suck.
Video is 10bit x264 1920x1080 and audio is 16bit FLAC. Credits to sergey\_krs and Aglenn (Winter, Yousei-Raws)
all instances of "Prez Rias" changed to "President Rias"
timing fixes (making lines last longer, for the most part)
wrong episode titles
spelling mistakes: Dimenesional, cancelled, Aisa (lel), Sirzech
capitalized the evil pieces
uncapitalized some other stuff
edited some shit
consistency fixes (Kuou/Kuoh and Shido Irina/Shidou Irina)
missing italics in 11's episode preview
way too many extra italics in 12
fixed a retarded line split I did in episode 8 or 9 where it had the 1st half of FFF's line and then both halves of Hiryuu's, or something like that
other stuff I either don't remember or have forgotten
In regards to translation style, FFF was more localized, whereas Hiryuu's was overall more literal in comparison
The two used many different name spellings. Mine is a hybrid, using Hiryuu for the main cast & season one characters, and FFF for season two characters.
FFF is edited Funimation, and Hiryuu is an original translation. They often had lines with entirely different translations. I usually went with the line that made the most sense in context, otherwise it was a roll of the dice trying to pick out Japanese words that I knew.. "Educated guessing" seems about right
FFF had better phrasing, so a lot of their script was swapped in a scene at a time. A lot of their lines were too long, however, and were hard to read before the lines disappeared. This was dealt with on a case by case basis with timing changes, joined lines, editing, and/or lazily switching it back to Hiryuu's line.
Both had better characterization for certain characters, so I tried to get the best of both for mine. The most notable example would be the evil priest dude (Freid, I think?) from season one, who was handled much better by FFF.
Both had humor in spots that the other didn't, so I usually went with the funnier one if the situation and tone allowed for it.
All 3 have spoken honorific, spoken name order, and translated Japanese terms
Hiryuu had a sizable amount of typos and inconsistencies. I would avoid releases other than FFF and my own
Which should I go with, SBR or FFF? Good question. Who knows? If you're switching over from the dub because of the cast change, I'd go with FFF because it's a Funimation edit, and closer to what you're used to. If you're a slow reader or plan on watching the show drunk or something, mine is probably the safer choice. Otherwise I'd choose base on your own preference. If you still haven't decided, just try them both
I will most likely not be updating this with the English dub, so feel free to use this release for that when the USBDs are out. [Here's all the subs and fonts and crap](https://mega.nz/#!SYxjFCRR!1S-ymr4J65BN0QGqnid5RkUr827qKpeIoHUkTGT_4HM)
