Fantastic work from Production I.G. couldn't save this plot. Still, I think it's worth watching the main show anyway. For this release, we've got Yousei-Raws video for the main TV series, a very nice looking 10-bit encode. I've brought fresh English 5.1 audio to join Yousei's, and I've spliced in the OP for every episode instead of just the first, as in the original USBD release (which could not get licensing rights for the song past one episode). Thus, you get to enjoy one of the best OP sequences in anime every time you start an episode. Subtitles come from Coalgirls 1080p release retimed for non-ordered chapters, which are a combination/re-edit of Frostii's R1 script and gg's typesetting for signs. Now, there are also two movies attached to this show, and they didn't have a definitive release either. I've chosenlleur's1080p 10-bit release here. This release was already dual-audio, but I've upgraded it with new lossless audio and Coalgirls' subtitles again, this time sourced from Commie for the first movie and Translatorgasm for the second.
