It looks fine, but very much like a DVD and of its time. I don’t mind how either version looks at all, but everyone’s mileage may vary.

Typos in a few episodes, always use “sempai” instead of senpai, stilted translations at a number of points… these subs aren’t particularly recommended. Art is still fine for what it is.
