I'm not HorribleSubs, the keyword means that the English subs are the easiest to read. (Soft subs can be turned off to be used raw.) 480p is not HD. It's not the biggest or the most popular, but it's still a useful choice to have. Please pass it on, so it will live on. **Info at Anime-Planet: [Magical Girl Raising Project](http://www.anime-planet.com/anime/magical-girl-raising-project)** My synopsis: Magical girls must compete against each other in the hope to be chosen... otherwise they die. It doesn't seem to be by the same artists as Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica - Puella Magi Madoka Magica ([Into at A-P](http://www.anime-planet.com/anime/mahou-shoujo-madoka-magica)) but it's very similar. It's a mix of cuteness and bloody darkness, but it's not as amazing. Madoka Magica had time travel and quantum physics, you can't beat that. But I still enjoyed watching Ikusei Keikaku. At first I was comparing the ending of Madoka with the beggining of Ikusei and I wasn't impressed (obviously), but eventually the blood hits the fan in a pleasant freaky manner. I'm not into cute stuff and I didn't like the art style... There's a rule that the space between eyes must be the equivalent of a 3rd eye... but if you'll break proportions to make them this big, you might as well balance the face better by making them closer... Otherwise the skull looks like a mushroom instead of an egg shape. Madoka does too, but kinda less. What's special about Ikusei Keikaku is that they show a sample of everything dark that can happen in society. The reason why I can't stand cute romance is because it makes me feel lonely, even worse when given unrealistic expectations. I crave gore because I can relate. It doesn't inspire me to be violent, aggression impulses are already in all of us and anime is my way to handle and cope with them. It calms my desires for revenge because I end up feeling compassion for humanity when the characters suffer too much. It makes me appreciate my life knowing that things could actually be worse. So I think that showing the dark side to children is important, they'll be better prepared for the hardships of life this way. (Kids... if an old man goes down your chimney at night, it's not to give you a gift, it's to rape you, and the candy that he'll make you suck won't taste like a sugar cane, but like sweaty balls.) I love how the anime mixed cute fantasy and brutal reality... the contrast makes it look even crueller. "Hell was paved with good intentions" mean that intentions aren't enough, results matter more. If you are blind to the pain that you are causing, by being so sure that you're doing the right thing... you can end up destroying instead of helping. I also like that they broke the gender stereotypes. A boy was chosen to be a magical girl. And a girl is such a tomboy that I kept wondering if she was a guy in magic form. Gender is a spectrum, and we can like what we want, especially if it doesn't hurt anybody. I love the anime for showing that. What I despise so much in humanity is that people don't want to give what they demand. They're ungrateful people that don't want to share. They would rather lie, pretend, disappointing, manipulate, betray... than make an actual effort for and risk failing. When someone has such a lack of confidence in themselves that they don't even want to try, but expect others to do it for them... and want to use force to exploit their efforts for their own benefit... It's abuse. It's unworthy. It's disgusting. If people like that are the one that prevails, then everyone around them and even themselves are doomed... it makes a rotten world. If everyone tries to take but no one gives, then everyone has nothing and everyone feel helpless. Failing while doing our best is more meaningful and honorable. Stop waiting for an invincible magical being to save you easily! Try even if it's hard. It's a successions of small steps that make us go far, even if we trip along the way. It's cooperation, together, that can save our world. Otherwise there's nothing worth saving. The anime shows that wonderfully. There is an unspoken rule in horror saying that you don't harm certain people or body parts. The anime broke both rules. It was kinda subtle, not graphic the way "Deadman Wonderland" clawed out an eye without anesthesia as a punishment... But they still went that far in darkness. There are even rules in war about that. Apparently laser weapons already exist, we could basically go Star Wars on each other already. But we banned the technology because it can cause permanent blindness, and it was considered too hard core. Poison bullets are also illegal. And the reason why the police don't use tranquilizer guns is because it's deadlier than bullets! You can repair a hole, but if the dose is wrong someone can OD and die from destroyed kidneys... But the anime didn't seem to have any rules to spare us. So it was pretty dark. I liked it~ If I was in it... I'd try to do my best at helping people because that's the whole point... but if someone came to harm me, I'd exterminate them without mercy. But who knows how far I'd be ready to go to survive... in spite of the best intentions... Other animes that are a mix of cuteness and gore: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica - Puella Magi Madoka Magica ([Into at A-P](http://www.anime-planet.com/anime/mahou-shoujo-madoka-magica)) Elfen lied (one of my favorites) Dokuro-chan (more of a comedy but loads of blood) Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica had time travel in it, others animes like that: Steins;gate Generator gawl The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (kinda slice of life, but fascinated me) Good old girly stuff that I actually enjoyed, CLAMP did good stories, and others too: Angelic layer (they battle with toys controlled remotely with their minds, thanks to a head set.) Chobits Onegai teacher Onegai twins Strawberry Eggs (With the english voice of Crispin Freeman, who did Alucard in Hellsing, and the male teacher dressing like a girl to get a job.) Feel free to make requests. Enjoy~ (Big thank you to the people that helped me seed the first swarm super fast, probably by taking over their RSS, feel free to block the word batch, but I'm sure that many people were happy~ Wow, you seed so well that I have a hard time reaching my max upload speed. Thanks! I'll be able to make more batches~)
