Do you know if anyone from Kametsu is going to do a BD release of the first season of Garo?

@VON-Encodes Yep, that would be me! Currently working on it. Although it'll be a [SCY] project and not [Kametsu]. But it shouldn't matter since the final product is the same.

@VON-Encodes Not that I know of. There's a few dual-audio versions to be found but I don't know if the encodes/subs hold up, or whether they feature dual FLAC audio. Anyway, getting a bit off-topic here. Please message me on Kametsu if you have further questions about potential projects. =)

Love your stuff! I prefer Quality to size but if you could tighten down your compression somewhere for a little smaller size you would be golden. Usually 1 to 1.2 gb an episode is plenty even with Flac audio.

@fogodosceus I have no control over the file sizes of the raws groups used in our remuxes. Dual FLAC audio already takes up a significant amount of space, especially when it's 5.1 audio. 1 GB+ 1080p encodes are pretty common too. If the file size bothers you, I suggest you download the 720p version instead.

Episode 10 and 11 have messed up subs. They're at the top of the screen.

Are episode 10 and 11 broken? I mean the subs is always on top...Am I the only one facing this?

@VON The Mardock Scramble movies are artistically extremely grainy and the BDMV is already reasonably sized (BD Remuxes for this is only like 14-16GB per film) and look nice without any source defects that would need to be filtered, so encoding them is pointless when the encode will come out just as big. Hence why Coalgirls simply did a Blu-ray Remux. Though it was sub-only iirc. I did my own dual-audio bd remux but I never uploaded it to the public. I suppose I can do so one day when I'm not tight on bandwidth as I currently am (data caps suck ass).
