Took the VHS-RIP released by Zero_fansubs.ru (https://nyaa.iss.one/view/973512) and fixed the audio. I've also tried to improve the overall quality of the image, but the original source was way overfiltered so I couldn't do much. Anyway, I've included some screenshots for comparison.
Maybe I'll try to fix other older animes. Any suggestion?
Not sure if the video looks all that much better. The HEVC gives it that watercolor look that I'd say looks worse than the typical VHS fuzzyness. I'd say audio is definately an improvment, a more enjoyable experience that isn't just for my left ear.
