OK… I like HEVC more than any things but you are encoding 1080p from HS Source why? and more than that it’s you made from 8bit to 10bit. again why? i can accept there no raw for this anime and that very sadness but you can use Erai-raws better than them…right? sorry for my bad English

Hi.. If you try encoding to 8-bit and 10-bit with the same bit rate even when the source is 8-bit. The results won't be the same. You can try this on your own, or you can look at some people reports (ex: archimago.blogspot.com/2016/12/quick-compare-avc-vs-hevc-8-bit-vs-10.html). There are also more extensive reviews out there. Or You can try it yourself with different bitrates. Regarding why using HS. Maybe it's just preference. I find HS sub font-style easier to read probably because it's bolder and the size is just right. Also, I've found more corrupted lines on Erai, they need QC and Idk why their font sizes were not consistent from show to show, not to mention the audio delay, yes, it's an easy fix but doing it on every video is a hassle, again they need QC for this. The video quality is pretty much comparable. I cannot say one is better than the other. But even if it were better in some ways, I might still prefer HS for all the things I mentioned, at least for now.
