So this anime is based on a [semi-popular manga](http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=5195). Actually, this is only the prequel to the [ongoing manga](http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=1380). It simply introduces the characters of the story. For those who haven’t been following the previous episodes or the manga, “Dogs” is not, of course, a series about dogs in the four-legged, cutesy-wutesy, ohlookathisadorableeyes animal; rather, it is a metaphor. “But, desolo, what’s a meta for?” Well, my dear children, go look it up in a dictionary. But! But! Will there be an animated continuation? What ever will happen to lovely Naoto, cute Nil, fiesty Mimi, crazy Heine, perverted Priest-san, weirdo Badou, and stoic Mikhail? These questions (and more!) will sadly, not be answered in this post. Because I don’t know the answer. But the answer is, “Read the manga.”
