Who are these encodes even for?

Probably people who need to save space and/or have a limited bandwidth or slow internet. Apparently, not everyone has tons of space and speedy internet.

In that case just download 480/720 or something, no need to download a shitty 1080 encode imo. I know the pain of slow-ass internet, but it seems like a waste of 1080p to me :V

So you think 480p looks the same with this then? either you don't have 1080p monitor or what a good eye you have.
